Event: Kynren – an epic tale of England, Bishop Auckland
Date: June – September 2017 and 2018
The Brief: Kynren, a multi-award-winning live action outdoor theatre spectacular set in the grounds of Auckland Castle, required a drinks contractor to install and manage the pre performance bar across its 18 summer shows.
The Solution: The mix’s bar specialist, Bar4Hire was awarded the full bar contract and created a bar clad in wood to seamlessly fit with the shows medieval theme. As it was a pre performance bar, speed of service was key, therefore we ensured that the 10-strong staff were briefed and prepped well ahead of the event so the 3000-strong audience at each show was served in a timely manner.
